Known formerly as Villa Vizcaya, the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens was once the private estate of the businessman James Deering. He was a member of the Deering McCormick-International Harvester fortune. The estate was located in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami. It is located at 3251 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33129.

James Deering, a successful businessman, purchased the property in the early 1920s after traveling Europe. The mansion was originally 180 acres in size, but it’s now located on just 10 acres of prime waterfront property. Deering used the estate for his winter getaway from 1916 to 1925.
